It WILL be worth it. David spent alot of time and effort on it. Certainly on my reading list... 
This is gonna be an essential purchase. I wonder how much Barney will reveal in the book about his life's ups and downs and if the book will end with 2007's dramas?
Maybe someone will make a film of it, staring Michael Douglas!

You haven't got your head round biography/autobiography, have you? This book is not written by Bernard Sumner, it is written by a journalist. The degree of truth contained within will vary at stages.

I hardly can imagine Barney dictating lines for a book about himself. He's so intravert. I'd like this book nevertheless. Not that I want to know "secrets" of his life, but I'd read it just rather as a biography of a man whose music I've appreciated.

I'm reading it at the moment. The guy that wrote it is a real fan, which makes it feel a little cloying at times. But I am enjoying it.
I've lost it, in fact, so may have to buy it again in order to finish it 
I wonder what the author will make up about his early life. Will the true story of Shagger Sheila be revealed?
