Alan always writes like a riddle, that's funny, but not at all understandable.
What I don't get is that I received that today, and the festival ended on July 15th... ![]()

Did we miss it? ![]()
hooky mentioned it in one of his recent blogs, when he was on about goin to watch the mondays at the ritz
Do you read your own website, Nicos?!

Friday July 6th, as part of the Manc Festival, at the venue that used to be called GMex.
They didn't do it. Obviously. Supposedly cos Hooky only wanted to do it if they could announce it as the 'last ever New Order gig', which the rest weren't prepared to do.
Apparently it's all in Tony Wilson's blog, though I've no idea where that is and haven't seen it myself.
Anyone know what Barney did that day instead?! ![]()

I knew that, come on Al... I just don't get why I received this today.
Actually, it was the next day, Chumps. You missed it. New Order were great, even if they did only play for 60 mins. Like one of the old gigs again, none of the WIFM crap - set list was:
Age Of Consent Ceremony Leave Me Alone Sunrise Dreams Never End Temptation (Gillian guested on 3rd guitar) Everything's Gone Green Procession
Encore: LWTUA (without the 'c'mons') Blue Monday
The band left the stage halfway through Blue Monday and left the sequencers going for a full 4 minutes - the light show was fantastic.
Pics to follow :)
I got into such trouble the next day for ducking work at the last minute!
Well, RIP New Order ![]()
Chris, that one was not the right set list, go to the New Order Live in Manchester 17th of July 2007 thread and you'll see it.
Absolutely the right setlist Andrés...
Shame they played in a pub and not the original venue...
I just noticed.. this mail is 4 months old!!!
Talk about a long delay!
So forget about it.
Seems his email provider fooked up!

...only New Order would announce a gig after it had happened, that they didn't even do anyway.
