What are the stupidest things people have said about New Order or Joy Division? Post anything said by moms, dads, brothers, sisters, friends, teachers, co-workers, or whoever. Here are two that I can think of right now.

1)My friend Dan: "It's all computer music" (Then he immediately puts on the latest rap CD"

2)Friend Jeff: (same guy who is obsessed w/ Phish: "You're really into New Order, they're a lot like Pet Shop Boys and Aha!"

3)Brother: "New Order sucks, they broke up right after that 'you spin me round' song."

have you seen the state of that geezer who did sing that 'you spin me round' song? (Dead or Alive). 'orrible.

Other than that, find a post by some bloke called Chris Z I think - where he claimed amongst other things that Hooky was married to Gillian, and that Barney and Stephen were gay. That was pretty stupid.
