This got it's first radio play on Xfm london late last night. Take the synth bass bit from Blue Monday, slow it down, scuzz it up, then do the vocals from Where Is My Mind over BM in a trippy elctro kinda way. Hey presto! a top choon. Some might say:lazy attention seeking mash-up, bit it's really well done. Considering my username I felt it only approriate that I be the first to mention it on here. Usually you NOOLers are so quick out of the traps I don't even bother! The track is called Twenty Dollar and it's on MIA's forthcoming album.

You're not wrong. Bloody awful racket. Must have seemed like a good idea at the time. But none of it comes together. To hear "Where Is My Mind?" with all the life sucked out of it, spoken with all the effort of a limp fart. Was that a futile attempt at moodiness in trying to emulate "The Eternal" drum sound too ?
very disappointed to hear this shoddy output from M.I.A. Mia from who i view as very creative and original to chose two overexposed songs is unexcusable.

Song is crap though.
How can someone take two very good songs and make 1 crap out of it is out of my mind.
What is good in Where Is My Mind is the melody.. and guitar...

It sounds like when you open one music file with MediaPlayer and then open another with WinAmp and then a third with Quicktime and have them all playing together.
