Factory group photos...any exist ?

It just occurred to me I don't think I've ever seen a big group photo of all or the majority of Factory geniuses together. There's a few of Tony or Rob with either JD or NO, but are there photos that exist of either JD or NO with Tony, Rob, Martin, Alan Erasmus and Peter Saville ?

They must have all been in the same place on numerous occasions collectively arguing about running the label. Somebody surely took a picture at a gig, board meeting, Hacienda or Factory Christmas party. I'm asking because I'd like to put something on the wall at home for inspiration.

There's documentary footage of Tony Wilson, Rob Gretton, New Order and a couple of others in a board meeting. Also footage of the 'Factory AllStars' on stage together. Don't recall seeing any pics of all the major players together, though there must be a few.

This isn't a pic, but a video. Wait 'til the Clash have finished...

Lovely to see AHW interviewed too...

Yes that photo was the one I had in the back of my mind too.

Tony was always aware, quite rightly, that the Factory label was groundbreaking and making history. I'm sure he must have thought "Hang on, I must get a shot of all these genuises together - it'll hang in a gallery a century from now."

Maybe there's a decent screenshot of them all in that 1984 Play at Home doc. I don't know because I haven't seen it since 1984 and all I can remember from it is Tony in the bath with Gillian(!)

This thought was triggered by me watching NewOrderStory on Sunday afternoon feeling happy/sad watching all 4 of New Order sitting round a table laughing at Steve's hysterical "I'm not a bitter man!" speech.

In Play At Home you get Tony holding court in The Gay Traitor with members of most of the current (at the time) Factory bands (ACR, Section 25, 52nd Street, Quando, Durutti). There's no Gretton, Saville, Erasmus or New Order though but it's entertaining to watch.

Also, if you want to see the episode of The Tube at The Hacienda it's being shown in constant rotation at Urbis currently.

Sorry for being ignorant on the other Factory artists, but I only recognize A Guy Called Gerald. Can anyone of you tell me the other artist/s who are in this video?

By the way, I forgot to mention, excellent video Chris!:thumb:

Thanks, indeed!

Gerald is not present.

From memory there are members of ACR/52nd Street/The Wake/Quando Quango/Durutti Column and, of course, Barney.

I'm busy tonight with the Celtic game and I have 5-a-side the morra, but I will capture some screenshots from my DVD's over the next few days and post the links up here.

Yeah, there's a good one in there of New Order with both Tony AND Rob - with Bernard in a chair on the left and the rest all lined up along the right. Haven't seen that one for years. Best so far.

Seeing as Wilson/Erasmus/Hannett/Saville were the founders of Factory I just refuse to believe that photos don't exist of the whole board plus Gretton & either JD or NO. Maybe not published yet but I'm sure privately kept (Hooky?). I think it's a fitting time now for one to be released. The statues can come later.

Thanks dude. Stupid of me for thinking that I know only one of them that turns out to be incorrect.:mallet:

I only know their names and their tracks from the Haçienda compilations. But I have no idea on how they look except for the Happy Mondays. I only saw A Guy Called Gerald once, and I assumed he was one of the guys from the video.

Indeed*!*
