What a weird experience , i was searching for the TVS Southampton performance (to no avail again) and found this clip of them doing Thieves Like Us on German TV , April 18th 1984.Has anyone seen this before??? Prob many of you have but its just strange that i've missed it all these years!

In other news , i did a guest vocal on Transmission in the pub last night at the gig by my mate's punk band ,Painsville .Last song of the set they asked me if i wanted to sing it .Went for it !! Dedicated it at the start to Tony Wilson of course
They're a shouty punk combo so the vocal was shouty too but it was a fcukin great crack .Even threw in a few Curtis dance moves

Sorry Jonathan , i did post i admit in the shed but thought it was worth a mention here too!! It's not often i do something like that:)
Great clip, I do like showing the Oberheim being fired up with just a touch of a button (too bad it's probably not even close to being as easy to program!)
I like footage showing Steve & Gillian rocking the keys, you never see that too much, to me at least it's much more interesting than Barney singing half-drunk with his eyes closed and Hooky looking like he's trying to murder his bass. I long for the good old days when artists played their own electronics on stage, instead of some old bloke triggering things offstage with a Mac....Ooops...

Agree with you on the point about actually wrangling the electronics on stage instead of it all being on some anonymous hard drive....

Not to mention Steve actually playing chords instead of just using one or two fingers!
Think I may have this on audio tape,but definately never seen it.It's gloriously crap but fookin' brilliant,quality '80's N.O.!!
