can anyone help me with a vinyl problem????

Hi all.....

I'm in posession of a 7" joy division vinyl and am trying to find some more info on it and it's possible value, searchings provin to be a bit of a nightmare as it doesn't appear to be listed anywhere!!!

What i think from looking at it is that it's a first pressing of 'Incubation' single listing:

Side a. Incubation 1 (2.50) Incubation 2 (1.55)

Side b You're no good for me (2.05) Komakino (3.40)

The vinyl comes presented in a 108 page hardback book with a black and white picture of ian curtis inset on a black and white cover with joy written down the left, and joy division written down the right.

The booklet has lyrics for 30+ songs in English and Italian and background info on the band, photographs,and discography......

Please any info would be fantastic....

Used to have a copy of that....that is if it's the same one where one of the incubations is actually the track named on heart and soul as "as you said", a full on Kreaftwerk job.

It sounds better on the cd.

Someone gave me this as a present when it came out years ago. I mislaid or threw out the single as I though vinyl was dead.

The lyrics in the book are from someone listening to the songs and trying to make them out so there are lots of mistakes.

The 'official' lyrics are in Deborah Curtis' book.

I've got something similar somewhere in a cardboard box in the spare room that I bought in about 1990. Lyric book with English and Italian pages. 7" with "You're not good for me" on one side, but I think something else not Incubation on the flip. I'll dig it out later when home.
