There is an imformation I would like you to keep very confidential There is sum ammount of money my Husband Late President Laurent Kabila, deposited in a security company Abidjan Cote d'ivoire for safe keeping. Before he was killed by his Eldest Millitary Son.

The squable happened as immediately we returned back from our London trip, My husband married us two.I am the second wife,I will not be able to give you the full details that led to that urgly incidents. The Eldest Son is the current President of our countrynow.

For now I am staying in Abijdan, the capital ofRepublic of Cote d'voire,just to save my life,with mythree children. The money in question, is 22, Million U.S.Dollars.

I can not make the withdrawal of this fund,because my husband registered the Beneficiary of the fund as his (Foriegn Bussiness Patner) and also (Family valuables as the content of the deposit) The documents of the deposit are with me.

What I would want you to do, is to assits me to get the consignment withdrawn from the security company,and we shall open a small account in a Bank here in your name, and transfer the money to your country,through the account .

We shall replace the name Foriegn Patner to your own name, because the code was used for security reason.

I will give you the 10% of the money for your assitance.

Ther is no risk in this transaction. I will use the remaining balance of the money for an investiment in your country for the future of my children.

It does, because so many people will get worried/not understand.

Not everyone here would know what to do (just delete it) it's always worth saying every now and then.

I mean that by publishing the thing on here you're helping the spammers, I'm sure they'd be pleased to see it in full on this thread.

A moderator should delete the account of the person/bot sending it.

After receiving hundreds of these over the years, I flipped the other day when I was in a less than pleasant mood. I fired off a very abusive response to about 6 of them and felt immediately better. That is, until somebody pointed out that now they know my email address is valid.

When I've moderated a forum previously I know that you get loads of spoof IDs created, followed by the inevitable spamming. It's all automatic and there's no person actually doing it directly...it's one of the hazards, you just have to spend time deleting them.

Suprise -Your computer is now infected with the 419SPAMvirus. this is not a joke, and its because you sent a Spam / 419 letter to my honeypot web email box - but You Got What You Wanted, a Lil Honey to go with all that Money.

( insert name of scammer here ), good luck at your futile attempts at removing this little demon, which multiplies with each keystroke you make. it has now written itself into your computers operating system; thereby making itself undescipherable. simply because you read this email. Migration is a very fast and mysterious thing, kinda like 419's..

You can look but like you, it can't be found, Enjoy !!!

oh btw, there is no removal tool for this virus either so throw your computer away and learn how to write instead.

The Digital account gets about 10 of these spams a day, I set up the yahoo autoresponse to tell everyone not in the address book to fook off, and some company who wanted to sell advertising space to the band got very offended and mailed back sayig they weren't spammers! I did go back and tell them that the band no longer existed, wouldn't be wanting to avail ourselves of their services. Bit crap really. My NOOL email address currently has 79 similar spams in the trash folder. As long as people can access this site's forum content when they aren't members, we will get spammed.

OK....impersonating a cop....but only to a foreigner in a foreign land, and in a very good cause.

In work we get them in the passport service's emails....you should see the amusing responses those get....I practically tell them James Bond will be round the kill them for "impeding the course of her majesty's services".

I plan to bundle up the hundreds of these emails I've received over the years (first was in 1991 I think) into a sophisticated financial 'derivative' and then sell them on to a hedge fund at a huge profit. (Well if the US banks can do it with hopeless 'sub prime mortgages' I don't see why I can't do the same)

Got 2 PMs from Ms Kabila,read and deleted one,and the other just flagged to delete.Only for some reason,my inbox seems to permanently show I've still got one unread message in my inbox (!!??)

I used to receive emails like this in my inbox, only those emails come from Nigeria. Right now, I would get email from "companies" in UK, Taiwan, China, Germany, and other countries requesting me for information because I can work part-time in transferring cash and make a living from it. Ever since I uploaded my resume on legitimate job search engines, I get more spam. God, I hate spam. :banghead:

Yeah, I have four of them, cos someone sent me 5 copies of a message a while back and I deleted 3 of them unread.

It might not be an easy thing for Spotnick to change either, depending on how much of the code is hand rolled and how much is from a forum "package". Though I think Nicos usues mainly organic home grown code.

Have yous looked at the spambaiter site yet?

My favourite is the guy they got to do the entire Parrot sketch ON CAMERA is his local lagos supermarket.

Interestingly, I read an article by a security researcher which suggested that, given the huge volumes of mail these sisterfuckers send, if only 10 percent attracted a reply, their mail systems would crumple.

Having you own domain works a treat, I give a unique email address each time I need to sign up for something, then when the spam arrives, I know what bastard sold me out, or has a harvester bot problem. 90% comes to nool@ :(
