Diggy finally got round to sending me the Thieves Like Us clip , thanks dude.I've uploaded it to YouTube because nobody else who had it could be arsed to.Many of you may have it but many won't have seen it ever.I certainly hadn't until today.Been waiting a long while to see this
It's in black and white unfortunately , quite old or maybe something happened in the upload? Still, its pretty good

They did it on "DJ" show, TVS Southampton .December 1983 i believe

The synths have chorus, which, with the tape tracking being poor, have odd pitch. Bernard's vocals are definitely PCL era New Order; more falsetto and high notes than before or after this time frame. His vocals are actually more in tune here than the Top of the Pops version or Leuven 85.

Kind of , yes. Every night since it was originally broadcast in 1093 i've had to run up to the top of the hill and look out for Mike's bonfire , 60 miles away in Derbyshire.When i see it , that's the signal for me to run back down the hill and rev up the interweb intersat fingly fangly.Then he sends me half a second of footage each time before the system overloads and all of Warwickshire and Derbyshire lose all power supply for 10 hours.But it's been well worth it , don't you think?
Love this clip, better than Thieves on TOTP, but I've never seen it in anything approaching decent quality...
