As I've always said, the IALP demo is cut off because the next verse was about puppy dogs and rainbows and wouldn't have fit the dour mythos attributed to Ian Curtis. Despite the lyric changes in the properly recorded New Order version, Ian (or more specifically, "Joy Division") is still credited with writing the lyrics, though lyric changes could still be attributed retroactively in this way if we compare the JD demo and NO versions of Ceremony.
