U.S.A. Release Date for Joy Division Reissues

I just received an email from "Dr. Rhino" in which he responded to my question regarding the release date for the Joy Division reissues in the states. He says, "these titles are tentatively scheduled for an October 30 release." It looks like our friends from elsewhere will have to let us know how they fare...

Remasters? Fuck off! I just managed to buy "Still" and "Unknown Pleasures" on the cheap...still annoying though

I'm waiting to hear word on sound quality before I shell out any cash for these. I learned my lesson from all the remastered compilations... (the best of) New Order being particularly offensive.

apparently the box set will be released stateside as well...

Looking at WEA's B2B, no JD new releases are scheduled at this time. Substance is they only JD title in print, so it does seem the reissues are coming. Not soon enough as our bloody dollar is so weak. They better have the bonus discs!
