Dirty South's an Aussie DJ who's been reworking a pile of 80s classics in his own 'dirty electro house' style. Some authorised, some not. This one's the latter.

I just listened to it. It's actually one of the 'better' Confusion versions, if you know what I mean. More of the Electroclash genre.

He salvages a few vocal grabs from the original and plays around with some of the bassline. Mostly own production. Similar formula to his much loved/hated Depeche remix.

I did not really like the song and it's first few versions.

When Pump Panel came out, I started to appreciate and liked it eventually.

Then came the Electroclash versions. It's now part of my playlist.

Not that Chilean bloke! His stuff was quite good up until recently, and now he's invented a new genre of avante-garde-druggy-experiemtal-minimal house music, that is either brilliant or shite, depending on what side of the fence you're sitting.
