Chris Nash's interview with KARL BARTOS is now up.

Yup, that bit is supposed to be a reference to the maitre d' of a restaurant they frequented who said that very word frequently when asked if they were fully-booked or something. There's a pack of footage - including both the TEE and Neon Lights films - on YouTube and even them playing a live version of Homecomputer I'd never heard before.

It's weird to think that, as Kraftwerk were recording TEE in Dusseldorf, Bowie was recording Heroes in Berling and they mention during the song!

Minimal I'd have thought, settled out of court. Helped by the fact they didn't actually sample, they re-recorded the parts from scratch again.

The drums nicked from Kraftwerk are the song's finest moment though, in my mind. Numbers is head and shoulders above every other Kraftwerk track for me, I can play then replay it over and over again on a loop.
