Well bummer, I'm really annoyed.I was counting on this ost for the paul haig cover of atmosphere and its not on there!! Does anyone know how I can get it? I love it to bits but only heard it on the radio when steven and hooky played it - i listend over the net at about midnight and it was brilliant! I've had no luck on itunes where someone told me i could get it, any one have any ideas?

You can't. There were legal issues with Paul Haig's management and the release of that cover never happened.
Last time I heard, Derek Miller was still looking got a singer and has an instrumental version on his MySpace page.
Snippets of the soundtrack are now there to listen to at the official Control site, including the three NO instrumentals. Go to the Soundtrack section in the pulsar menu and you'll find them.
They're pretty good IMO. Almost worth the 2,5 years wait, innit? ![]()

Ooh, the instrumentals are actually quite good.

Are we listening to the same snippets?

You must be listening to that Dutch prog thing by Supersister, Chris! Wonder if Corbijn has put that on the actual soundtrack as well.
Sounds like you can hear "Get Out" in full.
They're just wallpaper really. But they work well in the context of the film.
Then again I didn't mind NO's atmospheric noodlings in Salvation.
:\pimp3:
Just sat and listened to the tracks and I think they would work better in context with the film where they will probably make more sense, I guess. Enjoyed hearing the Buzzcock's 'Boredom' once again though ![]()
Nice to hear some new stuff albeit instrumentals. Hard to get a good impression from these short snippets. Looking forward hearing the full tracks. Great soundtrack overall!
Thanks very much for that and great to hear again. Crying shame that this wont be released properly, such a brilliant cover that the band obviusly like.
I found this online, but i don't know where it came from, maybe the single came out since this posting, or maybe it's ripped from a promo of the single, but this seems like a CD rip of the Paul Haig Cover of Atmoshpere!!
Hope it's ok to post this link for you guys: http://rapidshare.com/files/63797662/haig\_and\_miller\_-\_atmosphere\_2.mp3 enjoy!

Probably derived from iTunes - it is on there under the name of "Outernationals - Atmosphere 2 (featuring Paul Haig)"...

I have a 3rd mix of it, then a version instrumental when Paul Haig dropped of the project ![]()
