Wish I fookin lived in Lahndahn sometimes! Say hello to Wolfy from the Corby Order.
Scary - Just got a text from Jarvo as I was typing ![]()
Dave Haslam is now an honorary Viking, he has our new badge (see JG's avatar)
Apparently it's a bit poncey, they are only serving weak beer, but apparently there's a few of the usual suspects out and Dave has half of Colombia in his pocket.
Outstanding ![]()

He's fuckin' not an honorary Viking ![]()
Looked at the badge blankly and put it down by his decks.
Never put it on and apparently gave it to some bird who clocked it later in the nite ![]()
And most of the stuff he played was shite

What a surreal night!
As per our now usual Friday nights, Ness and I managed to polish off a bottle of wine in record time before making our way to the event - to which we all turned up late, in true style, and stood at the back of the 'blue' room like naughty school children late for an assembly!
JG led us eventually to our seats where we listened to a lady read a poem from a book - by this point Nick's naughty laugh was starting to creep in and i had to keep pinching myself as not to get the giggles! Luckily, next act on stage was a fantastic comedian from Manchester who had us all in stitches, followed by a lady from Manchester with a guitar who played some good songs!
Half - time.....more drinking - phone pit stop for Nessy and me!
Second half was Terry Christian reading some stories from his book - was pretty funny, wound up by Dave Haslam reading the conclusion from his book 'Manchester England'
End.
More drinks and Dave Haslam DJ set......Nick, myself and Ness dispensed outside to watch the congregated Iron. Beautiful it was!!![]()
Ventured back inside, music set was average......
Al, Gem, Ness, Nick and me all left for last train home.....(why did you all bail out at warren Street?) By coincidence, my fella was drinking in Barnet last night - I managed to get home at a good time, even managed to upload pics on facebook, then 5 mins before he text me to see if I was home yet so he could come round - I fell asleep and only got the message at 8 this morning! Big fucking oops - have I got some explaining to do today!![]()
You lot get me in so much trouble - but another fantastic night, love my new Viking badge and nice touch to also give one to Joe who is very proud of his Viking roots and his badge collection - thanks, Mr Jarvis!
Lovely to see, JG, Leggy D and Andy who i'd not see for a while........as usual, much love, Ness (we're becoming more inseperable - people will start talking), JG, Al, Gem, Vinny, Nick, Andy, Leggy D.........
Happy days people! See you next week to do it all again!

"congregated iron" that's a cockney term for a collection of poofs isn't it?
nice to see you were quite specific too
Er, noooooo, the congregated iron was actually a fireworks display going off.
Nessy said she could hear fireworks - i told her not to be so silly as it was congregated iron shutters shutting - er, and then a few rockets went off in the sky - so Ness was right!![]()
edit: just had this debate with Will, we know it's corrugated iron - but at the time, i called in congregated iron (because i couldn't remember the proper name) and that's why the theme was carried on in my post for Ness and Nick who were there at the time! So apologies for confusion!![]()
