anyone else catch this last night/early this morning ?

Live from Manchester with the magic numbers visting the hac exhibition and the NO drummer in the studio, nice little interview where they asked him about the recent tiff - stated he felt he was caught in the middle - described Hooky as a great big ball of fire, Bernard as a great big mass of water(!) and himeself as the tepid steam caught in the middle

"We're very lucky in the band in that we have two visionaries, David and Nigel, they're like poets, like Shelley and Byron. They're two distinct types of visionaries, it's like fire and ice, basically. I feel my role in the band is to be somewhere in the middle of that, kind of like lukewarm water...." Derek Smalls 1984

He actually preceed the quote by saying something along the lines of; "I feel very much like Derek Smalls in Spinal Tap....".

Very odd seeing SM having to carry out the promotion for this film in light of the other two's fall-out isn't it?

It is an awful show. I think Mr. Morris appeared about 45 minutes in with the actors in Control who played Barney & Tony.

Stephen was so nervous, you could at times see him shaking and his lips quivering when he was talking. Bless him. It is strange to see him undertake all the promotion burden.
