Still Remaster - Additional Downloads?

In the booklet for the Still remaster it refers to two 'errors' - the omission of Twenty Four Hours and the incorrect mastering of one track (either Ice Age or Sound of Music, can't remember off the top of my head) making it play a semitone off key.

It mentions that corrections to both these errors will be made available online. Anyone heard any more about this?

Cheers, Pash.

Ain't seen anything about them being online yet, no. Ice Age is the one that is a semitone out.

All in due time, my friends... As the one who discovered the pitch/tempo problems with Ice Age, perhaps I'll post the values those with audio editors would need in order to correct their own versions.

If/when these go live somewhere on the intarweb, I'm sure it'll be posted or linked. Can't give any guarantees for anything in this business but the brain trust is aware and working on possible solutions/scenarios.

Wouldn't it be a better idea if we could simply return the defective discs and get them exchanged for correct versions?

It's a bit of a cheek, putting a reference to the mistakes in the bloody booklet, isn't it?

Hardly defective, as in faulty!

Ice Age was mastered at the wrong speed 27 years ago. 24 Hours was omitted from the CD versions for space constraint reasons back then, no idea why they decided to perpetuate that frustration.

Oh, I see!

I thought they'd just messed up again. I knew about Twenty Four Hours not being on CD versions of Still, but I hadn't heard about the Ice Age mastering issue.

Sorry for jumping to conclusions there.

Thanks for the replies.

Special thanks to drewc - I'm enjoying the live discs that came with the reissues. :thumb:
