Think Shug might've put this up somewhere, but I cannae be ersed to check each thread.
Me and JG flew to Berlin airport first thing Friday morning.
Sat on the plane and JG goes, "I'm sure Sam Riley's just walked past."
I said dismissively, "Yeah, of course he ha-" and then cut the sentence short when I looked back down the plane and saw said Mr Riley sticking his bag in an overhead locker.
Ended up chatting to him by the barrage carousel in Berlin. Turns out no one had ever gone up to him before and said, "Aren't you Sam Riley?" and then a German journalist did the same whilst we were chatting to him and Sam goes, "Twice in three minutes - this has never happened to me before." JG said summat like, "Well, this is the big time for you now," and Sam replied "I can still fcuk it up yet!"
Not much I can say really. Had a chat about the film, and the real-life characters portrayed in the movie that he'd also met. He came across as a really sound, level-headed lad and dead genuine with it. Will go far ...
Shame for him though: plane was full of schoolgirls ... and the only people who think of cornering him are me and JG! ![]()
