The interviewer says that Fat Bob had said New Order were a bit stand offish when you meet them.Barney denies they are and will talk to anyone , in fact Barney has "smoken, spoken ,smoken , spoken " to the lipsticked one (" he looks so strange when you see him (chuckles all round") in a club and bought him a drink but Fat Bob "probably doesn't remember because he was so drunk or off his head on a strange drug"

The interviewer asks if Thieves Like Us means thieves are fond of New Order ? Or does it mean New Order are like thieves? Hooky- "both" Barney replies that it was Arthur Baker and Jellybean that came up with the title.New Order then saw it sprayed on a wall and that made their minds up.

Some chat about what they think of Paul Young's cover of LWTUA also "great" , "wonderful"

Thank you, I appreciate it. Now I got that thing about the cure and graffiti. The atmosphere is so strange during the interview.

Oh and I thought they didn't give interviews in the 1980s, looks like it's the opposite.

It IS an odd interview , couple with Barney being stoned and the sound not so good.And the cameraman focusing on another group of people sitting nearby at one point while New Order talk.Barney thinks the interviewer means Fat Bob is stand offish i think , at first.Then realises he means Fat Bob thinks New Order are stand offish.Or something , whatever

Gillian is wearing the same dress that she wore on the Top Of The Pops performance a few weeks previously.A couple of years later Gay Andy Bell of Erasure copied Bernard's white tee shirt and tight bleached jeans look and made it the gay uniform for 1986-1987
