It's playing right now in Montreal in a movie festival, but the official release seems to be October 26.

Edit: Got a mail from Alliance Atlantis... October 26 it is for Canada.

The url doesn't work right now, but it's:

I strongly recommend this venue. Nice leather seats. Clean and doesn't have that funky smell like Nuart.

I saw it in New York last week and thought it was fantastic. Really moving and beautifully shot.

According to www.imdb.com, CONTROL in Los Angeles will not be moving over to THE LANDMARK after the NuArt's week-long engagement ends on the 25th.

The next theatre will be EDWARDS UNIVERSITY TOWN CENTER 6, right across from UC-Irvine!

4245 Campus Drive Irvine, CA 92612

Starting Friday, OCT 26th, the scheduled showtimes are:

2pm, 5pm, 7:30pm, 10pm

Saturday & Sunday have an additional early showtime at 11:35am

I am not sure how long the extended release will last!

Correction to that schedule:

It is actually playing in San Francisco at the Clay (not the Lumiere), and only for one week. I'm off to it this weekend.

I just paid way too much for a pair of tickets for the Shattuck Cinemas @ Berkeley CA 7:10pm show. Should be worth it though!

Chicago release was this past Friday and I checked it out at the MusicBox. Nicely done, but is it just me or does Sam Riley look more like Steve more so than Ian? My God - he could be a Steve Morris stand-in and I would never know the difference.
Either way - the movie is well done and personally, I think Samantha Morton (Debbie Curtis) did an EXCELLENT job in the film.
