Cant find a link, but they won five awards tonight, according to the radio news just now.

this is an old link

here

EDIT: Just listening to R5 Live. They won best film, best director, best first film director, and most promising newcomer in Sam Riley. A bizarre interview with Sam followed, when the interviewer realised he was Sams landlord at a house in Leeds a few years ago, and had had to evict him. Strange questioning ensued, with some embarassed answers from Mr Riley.

Link is now on the main page.

I'm glad to see the guy who did Gretton win best supporting actor, I thought he was amazingly funny.

Just heard more stuff on the radio.

They added more cred to the claim that Riley is widely expected to get an Oscar nomination.

IS it just me then who thought that the film wasn't really that good...

Look the emperor isn't wearing any clothes!

I'l be watching the JoyDivision documentary tomorrow night and I think that will be far better than Control. I guess I just don't like biopics (and not just this one either)

Along with Denzel in American Gangster I guess.

He doesn't have a shot though.... but it would be nice... would give a nice return on investment to the production companies, and that's always a good thing... would help the DVD to get more extras.

He hasnt got a cat in hell's chance of winning, but it will sure make that DVD sell. Might even engineer a proper cinema release.
