TPK being played in a bank lobby? I wouldn't be surprised if TPK will be played in the lobby of a BLOOD BANK.![]()

At the local grocery chain where I work, they have a myriad of different radio stations on rotation. On the 80's station, I've heard The Perfect Kiss, True Faith, Bizzare Love Triangle, and Blue Monday. Shit, they've even played Love Will Tear Us Apart. If only they'll stop playing Shout.... for the love of god...
Jeez, my work must be in on this. Today they played Love Vigilantes AND Fine Time. How fucking sweet is that?!
i once heard salt n' pepa's "Push It" while dropping a deuce at a local Wal-Mart's public toilet stall... does that count for anything???
Ah yes. Heard Age of Consent yesterday when I was clocking in, and then they played Never Tear Us Apart by INXS and Love Vigilantes back to back. Sweetness.
More New Order goodness! I've recently heard Crystal and Shellshock on my work's radio. Everybody looks at me really strangely when I start singing along. :D
It is rare here in the Boston area to hear our beloved band anywhere, but especially in a public place. Recently I had lunch at a wrap placed called Boloco and they played not one but two songs during the 40 minutes or so that I was there (Shellshock and TLU for the record).
That is indeed an odd choice of muzak in a money bank.
It'd do better in a sperm bank.
Dracula's Castle in a blood bank even.
Try this one, went to the mall blasting Friday im in love for some laughs, and horrid off key singing. Then walk in and there it is blaring, Robert fecking Smith on the speakers of the mall, deafening the disappointed teens of loathings of minimum wage. As for New Order, I've heard Regret as a commercial song, for some shit YMCA club of some sort. Heard Ceremony(1987 version with Gillian) in some trendy clothes store, along with Bizarre Love Triangle '94. Heard Bizarre Love Triangle(Album Version) on the radio way too often then I cared to. And somehow seem to always walk in when my playlist is blaring Lonesome Tonight. That was ridiculously long, I need to find a life.
