Does anyone have a complete listing of all the New Order songs that Barney (for a fact!) plays melodica on? Reason I ask is because on Wikipedia the songs "Angel Dust" and "Fine Time" are listed as tunes that feature Barney's melodica, yet I can never hear melodica in those songs. Is Wikipedia correct, or am I just not hearing something???
Barney's Melodica

do you want a complete listing or do you just want to know if Barney plays it on those two songs?
He definately plays it on Fine Time, (you can hear it at 3:04 on the Technique album version)
And as for Angel Dust... you can hear it in the last minute or so of the song, underneath a few layers... at least I'm pretty sure that's a melodica...
Definitely played it live in these songs:
In A Lonely Place Truth Hurt Your Silent Face Love Vigilantes
can't think of any others off the top of my head. Definitely didn't play it live on Angel Dust, Fine Time or Run Wild.

Wow, they went through all the bother of syncing a tape just for melodica when everything else is on HD

That's really lame. I'm so glad I wasn't at that show, or I would be seriously pissed.

I remember when they played it live the first time in Oakland, Barney shrugged his shoulders and mimed along with his hands for a few seconds like he was playing an invisible melodica. It was pretty funny.

Didn't he play it to Fine Time at Gmex 88? Then chucked it in the crowd!

So why put up with the keyboards being taped then?
I can't get excited about the accompanying wind section, keyboards, drums or anything being pre-recorded when some of the lead vocals on WFTSC were pre-recorded at the same gigs.

I'm ok with tapes if they are absolutely necessary, or if they are for sequenced rhythm parts (drums, bass, etc.). But the Melodica, as with guitars, lead key parts, Hook's bass, etc., are crucial elements to the song. They don't just provide accompaniment.
