By the way, anyone managed to get the 12" vinyl remix collection of Crystal? My girlfriend got the lot for me and although I've never been too keen on real 'dance' mixes, they're not too bad - recommended for collectors anyway.
Danny the boy B - could not face sitting whilst 4MB entered my comp. - my connection is so slow it would be quicker for me to write and record my own version over the period of 12 years. Shall have another go when speeds improve.
April dear April, the old crisps/chips debate opens up in front of my very eyes yet again. Crisps ARE the chips you talk about in the U-S of A. I know you'll know Pringles Light as they are out in the States - a pal of mine resideds in Austin, Texas and confirmed their existance. Don't ever hold back kid, just let go - purchase said crisps/chips and eat with a minor dip to hand.
Don't spoil your figure though - never eat too many, it could cause leg drag in future life. I have a very good crisp/chip story but I'm saving it for when the orderline hits rock bottom.

You asked for comments, so here goes...
I liked it.
Remember though, that if a vocalist is not that strong on holding a tune (sorry Barney) then it's best not to leave the vocal sample 'open' - i.e. easily heard on its own.
Ways around this are to add effects (reverb, echo-*there is a difference*, resampling, pitch-shift, transposing,etc.) I realise that the options are limited with the software provided.
On a purely N.O. basis - it's often better to increase the db on Hooky's bass, if you can't increase the bass eq and mid range. It's all to do with the sound frequencies - some of the notes played higher up the fretboard get lost when trying to compete with guitars, snare, hi-hat and cymbals (which is the reason N.O. use a sequenced/synth bass sound - it fills the sound out - less tinny when Hooky is playing a bass 'melody').
For normal bass, as a rule of thumb (certainly live) should be set at approx. 1/3 louder than main rhythm guitar.
Sorry, I'm getting anal again.
Anyway, as I said, I liked your mix - some really cool ideas. I'd love to hear more, so let us know if you mix another. Or another three or four!

Well I do know of the Pringles light crisps :p and they do have a funny commercial here that the pringles guy on the box sings a song (can't remember now what song though)
I have never met anyone who is so into crisps before hehe. I do agree that pringles are less messy and don't get your hands as greasy....
