Manchester Show

Does anyone know what time the Manchester show starts and ends? How many bands are playing? How Late does the train run to Manchester Picadilly? I need a hotel in or around there or by the Old Tafford Cricket Ground. I am coming from San Francsico to see this show and I could use a bit of help. Thanks!

Not sure of times yet,as for trains to OT from PIC ,i think you have to use the METRO TRAM LINK.Not many on forum yet that can help but i will ask about HOTELS.Try to keep you posted...and watch out for that idiot ROCKET MICK. CHEERS :) :) :) :p er..................ROCKET TIMETABLE MICK

Got my tickets today. The entrance to the site opens at 3:30 p.m. and because it is on a Saturday I'd say they will push the boat out and finish at 11:30 p.m. - 12? Lets hope they do their longest set yet! Perlease!

I think you best bet is to book a hotel around Piccadilly Gardens, depending on your budget you have the Malmaison, the Jarvis Piccadilly or the Victoria (now I maybe confused with names but I think I have stayed in this last one and is not bad at all). To get to the cricket ground you can take the bus or the Metrolink both at Piccadilly Gardens. This is within walking distance from Piccadilly Station. There is a night service until late.

If there are any Mancs posting do you know whether they are done with the refurbishment of Piccadilly Gardens?

Nah, not yet matey, don't think they'll be putting it back in either as the council are trying to keep the area as clean and tidy as possible for when the commonwealth games hits manchester in a few weeks time
