Control on DVD with limited booklet from HMV.com

Me too! The booklet must have only been added recently cos I checked 'em both before ordering.

Hmmm...if I order it I don't know if it will work on my dvd player as I'm Canada I think I should maybe wait until its released in (possibly) February.

Sometimes it plays region 0 dvds, sometimes not...

Whereas multi-region DVD players have been common in Europe for a long time, because so many releases have been region 1 only, it's only more recently that it's been easy to get multi-region DVD players in North America. I bought a Philips model last year for 80 CAD (about 40 GBP) that allows you to punch in a code that enables play of DVDs from any region (not just 0 and 1), PAL or NTSC.

Another Canadian...

Husband wants one of those multiregion players so he can order all his British WWII documentaries, and I didn't pay it no nevermind until I noticed that Control still isn't showing up as a release in North America.

Now I'm encouraging him to buy one.

Got an email from HMV this morning saying it's been dispatched and on its way. Bit earlier than i expected :)
