I'm gonna have to visit this again, because every time I go,the concert loop's just started and The Smiths are on right at the end, which is ...like..erm..an hour into it.

I'm going tomorrow. Then off to the Salford Art Gallery; the one on the Crescent with the Victorian Street.

Well worth seeing, if you haven't already. Some wonderful evocative memories of great times. And The Fall on a loop.

I concur, particularly the footage from the Tube with the Factory 'all stars' on stage, and Wilson's 'banter' with Morley. You'll never get anything similar happening ever again...

At the entrance to the exhibition there's an amazing flowchart linking everybody together from the Hacienda story. I'd been interested to know where it will end up after the exhibition closes. if it's going in the bin I'll have it. Although, I noticed a glaring error on it, and for the life of me can't remember what it was now.

I was gonna go over and see our Jem, and go with her. But apparently she has some sort of alergy to museums and galleries that makes her feel faint and woozy, or so I heard????

:evil4:

Would have liked to have gone, but cannae see it happening now.

Don't beat yourself up, Doc. Even if you'd got over, Jem would have kept dragging you to the pub and you'd never have made it to Urbis. That's what's been happening to me almost every week since September. :\ohwell:

I managed to see a little bit of it, before being summoned to the pub for LCD Soundsystem last year...

To listen to/watch the various documentaries takes up the most time, so depends on whether you want to listen to them. Otherwise, I found it only took about 1/2 hour! :)

If anyone could nick the FAC 1 poster for my hall, I will buy them a pint at MVC.

You can get a very attractive "Hacienda 25 The Exhibition" poster from the gift shop for a very good price. It now adorns the top of my landing in a rather fetching IKEA frame. There must be some irony in that somewhere...
