Blue Monday Flicker Book

Does anyone know the value of the above item and where to get hold of one? Have looked on EBAY but never seen one.

A (very) ltd. edition 'Blue Monday '88' Flicker Book was released in 1988 along with the video. Together with the '12 inches of New Order Ruler' this item is perceived to be the rarest of all New Order beauties.

Its price is a question of how much people want to pay. The last guide I picked up had each item in the hundreds ... problem is, finding anyone with them. The ruler is older, thus, possibly rarer, but the flick book was very very ltd.

eil.com were flogging off the ruler for £50 not so long back, but you never know how close to "market value" eil's prices are....

I very nearly got one of the flicker-books at the time, but sadly it remains on my wanted list for the moment (where it will doubtless stay!)

Though EIL can always find "rare" Factory stuff they certainly overcharge & regularly carry items that turn out to be fake - their CDR "acetates" just make me laugh.

The flicker book which was - as stated - a Factory christmas card for 1988 has rocketed in price and although these vary, if you're paying £50 for the ruler you must be looking at upwards of that for the flicker book.

Having said all that, I've seen them going for as little as £15.

Huntsman; Do you really think that this is the "holy grail" in collectors terms? I should have thought the statues for "Technique" & "Round & Round" or the Factory "year planner" would have been considerably rarer - that's forgetting the "Touched" leather football of course.

Saw the Technique statue "Little Louie" I believe, for sale once on EBAY and it went for about eight hundred quid so I would put this as the most rare item.

... and for maximum points, name the dog in the video ...
