I heard last night on Manchester's 96.2 The Revolution that Martin Hamnett doesn't have a headstone on his grave. The DJ, Phil Beckett (v. knowledgeable) was surprised to learn of this.
Is this true? If so, why?

Wendy Hannett has agreed for Joy Division/Factory to pay for a headstone for Martin and has given the wording for this. She does not want a Factory number or design however. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to contribute but there will be no need for that now.
