I heard last night on Manchester's 96.2 The Revolution that Martin Hamnett doesn't have a headstone on his grave. The DJ, Phil Beckett (v. knowledgeable) was surprised to learn of this.
Is this true? If so, why?

Er, I presume his family are to blame then, no?
If 'blame' is the right word?
Wendy Hannett has agreed for Joy Division/Factory to pay for a headstone for Martin and has given the wording for this. She does not want a Factory number or design however. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to contribute but there will be no need for that now.
this is the latest on THE JOY DIVISION CENTRAL SITE.
