Used to have a copy of this on good old VHS. Would love a copy on DVD. I know it came out in Japan on DVD but cannot locate. Anybody know where I can get it, or willing to sell? Worth having for the line from Barney "get that light off me you cunt!" Even a bootleg will do. I no longer own a video only a dvd (i'm not showing off, modern times eh)

Tried to play my vhs tape the other day, but it broke when i rewound it back to the start....!

Am I right in thinking the dvd has different camera angles than the vhs, or was that the laser disc version.
Funniest thing about this gig doesn't appear on the DVD. They came back on for a second encore after the security had dispersed and the crowd had nearly all gone, and there was a massive rush to the front when they started playing Sister Ray, they had to abandon it after about 3 minutes as the security were going apeshit and there was nearly a riot! It's only on dodgy audio, not on video unfortunately.

Do becareful people, make sure you have a multiregional dvd player. Japan is in a different DVD region that Breetun or the USofA (Japan Region 2; Breetun region 5; US region 1)... most likely you'll only be able to play it on your computer (if its upto date), as most dvd players are only coded for one region.

Most dvd players can be coded to region free (except our current one of course). But in Australia at least, you have to ask for the code at the shop where you bought it from (or have a look on line).

Most European DVD Players, however, are region free (or can be made to be)! :)

I have it now; there was a bit of a scare when they told me it was out of stock, but they got more in almost immediately so it just delayed the shipment a couple days.
It is indeed Region 2. The whole region business is a lot of customer-abusive horseshit - if this or the full version of 24 HrPP had been available locally I wouldn't have needed to go overseas. I highly recommend everyone do what I did and buy a cheap multi-region-capable DVD player (mine's a Phillips 642) and hack it to remove the region locking (easy to do - just get the unlock code from the internet). No one should ever buy a region-locked DVD player.
It's great to finally have this in digital form, I'd stopped playing my worn out old VHS copy some time ago for fear of degrading it further. So far everything looks and sounds just as it should - nothing new, just on DVD now. Definitely recommended for anyone else who's been hanging on to a ragged tape or is curious to see a mid-80's NO gig (great setlist). Too bad the crowd is so...polite, though.

I ordered PFD on dvd some years ago from a Dutch online shop. It looks like an illigal vhs to dvd version and comes with a vhs to dvd version of The New Order Story. The sound is pretty good. It's still on the site: http://www.nlstore.nl/shop5/shopdisplayproducts.asp?search=yes
