I might be being dense, here, but could you have it confused with the Shep Pettibone mix? They kind sound the same in an strange alliterative way & he produced the Pet Shop Boys early stuff.
no, i did not confuse it, they asked for the pet shop boys mix. i am well aware of the shep version thanks!

Although it's probably some knobend that puts songs on p2p sites and makes up who mixed it.
I've heard of a True Faith (PSB Mix) floating around on P2P networks some years ago so I wouldnae be surprised if this is just a repeat of the Pettibone mix being mis-labeled; that was certainly the explanation last time.
PSB have not remixed TF to my knowledge - and if they have, it's languishing in a record company vault somewhere...
there is a true faith pet shop boys remix, it came out i think mid-2007. its 7 minutes 54 seconds long and came out on a pet shop boys remix album,they covered quite a few other artists as well. by the way it is very good to.it would be available on the pet skop boys label

Found this on NET but not registered to DOWNLOAD it.Thought i'd heard most PSB stuff but don't own several(at least 2) OF THEIR LATEST OFFERINGS.Just got out of the habit of buying CDs.Got Fundemental sent to me but not the NEW Remixes album but TRUE FAITH ain't on this ALBUM.Would be interested if anyone else can shed more light on this track. Are you absolutely sure? Can you link the release or where to purchase it?
If it's an official PSB remix on an official PSB album it would certainly show up on the likes of Google and Amazon not to mention the hardcore collectors both NO and PSB alike being all over it. Google searches only seem to throw up stuff like this which is obviously the Pettibone mix mis-labeled..
I seriously think some people are getting confused between Stephen Hague, Pettibone (frequent PSB collaborators) and PSB themselves. I'd bet this is a bootleg or unofficial mix mischievously mis-labelled.
This PSB FAQ notes the following:
A lot of PSB songs can be found on the Internet (WWW, FTP, Napster, etc.). Some songs are mislabeled. If you find a (n unknown to you) song, first check the discography, then check the list of unreleased songs on the official site and then start asking around.
Some people suggest these songs are mislabeled on purpose... Anyway, the most famous ones are:
\* Send me an angel This song is really by the Australian group "Real Life" \* New Order - True Faith The Pet Shop Boys did not (officially) remix this song. They are either remixes by Shep Pettibone or Pink Noise (both familiar PSB remixers).
There are fair few hits on Soulseek for this, but none at the moment with download slots... Not that I can really be bothered anyways... Do I really need another version of TF?

The last time I downloaded one of these off a P2P network, it was the Shep Pettibone remix...
I think this stems from the original Napster era where smartarses would put false information on mp3s file for fun, to see how many people would download and spread it
- That the Pet Shop Boys have remixed New Order's "True Faith"
This one is so pervasive that it perhaps goes beyond the status of mere rumor. A surprisingly large number of websites refer to a "Pet Shop Boys remix" of the New Order classic "True Faith." This particular mix was even reportedly used in an episode of the U.S. version of Queer As Folk. While "True Faith" did indeed appear in such an episode (I know because I watched it), it was not a "Pet Shop Boys remix." The Pet Shop Boys themselves have denied that any such remix exists. It's difficult to say how this error originated. It could be that someone—possibly under the influence of a mind-altering chemical—saw that there was a "Perfecto remix," part of the "True Faith '94" single release, and misinterpreted it as a "Pet Shop Boys remix," and the mistake simply perpetuated itself from that point on. There's also a Shep Pettibone remix, so perhaps the combination of Shep's "Pet…" surname and/or his frequent early remixing work for the Boys resulted in some confusion. Unauthorized file-sharing may have played a role as well. That is, if someone were to have distributed an audio file of "True Faith" that they said is a "Pet Shop Boys remix," then that would explain the many online references to something that doesn't really exist. If, however, anyone reading this happens to own an actual, physical copy of "True Faith"—not simply a downloaded file—with a label or other printed material that reads "Pet Shop Boys remix," I would love to hear from them. Apparently, it doesn't exist---at least in the form of a Pet Shop Boys remix. My theory is that someone must have heard one of the official (or perhaps unofficial) remixes of True Faith and thought it sounded similar to PSB, so he or she named it such (or assumed it to be a remix by PSB), uploaded it on some file sharing software, and an urban myth that PSB remixed this song emerged because of that.

Ages back a chum downloaded a so-called Pet Shop Boys TF mix from Winmx. It was indeed just the Shep Pettibone version.
Proove It. Seriously, I'd like to see proof. I downloaded it about 6 years ago off Audio Galixy, Napster, and Limewire, its the Shep Pettibone Remix.
That QAF episode featured a Pettibone remix of TF, from memory. Think it was even re-edited to fit what was quite a long sequence. One of those rare moments where the music director chooses the perfect track to fit the scene.
