I visited the Companies House website in order to confirm that the companies mentioned in Anthony Wilson's will were basically finished. It's true.

In the City Limited was placed in voluntary liquidation last month:

Esmeralda Events Limited and Sound Productions Limited are dormant.

Interactive City Limited was dissolved in September 2006.

[But then, on a whim, I did another search, and found THIS:

I thought this name might be available again by now, but obviously I wasn’t the first to think this by a long chalk, as the new company was incorporated on 3 October 2007, less than two months after Wilson’s death.

I just obtained the Appointments Report, and the Director and Company Secretary are Third Party Formations Limited and Third Party Company Secretaries Limited, both of the same Registered Office as the new company.

Presumably, therefore, the name is up for sale!

Well spotted, El Jarvo. I have now removed the daft links to the old companies, and just left the one that matters!
