If Hooky's blogs and personal anecdotes are anything to go by, this book will be very entertaining.

I find it amazing that anyone could find Hookys blog entertaining.

I just love your enthusiasm and sunny disposition Liam

You're just an old man who likes New Order, Chris, and you don't understand what it is to be a hip young gunslinger like Liam. Like, buy some NEW MUSIC, you moron.

NEW MUSIC.

I will definitely buy this book if it talks about the band, the early days, the behind the scenes intoxications, etc, but I will NOT BUY THIS BOOK

if it is another boring rehash of why the Hacienda took all their money. I am SO SICK of that subject.

We get it, New Order. The Hacienda was a nightmare for you. You lost money. You even wrote some songs about it.

But,

Can we focus on the ART and MAD STORIES and not the friggin business dealings, just for once?

god.

Really think you need to increase the dose some days!!!!

The book will be containing anecdotes about the whole experience, I am reliably informed. All the stuff that nobody knew about, or only knew some bits about.

Well, I wont be reading it as I'll have enough to read is it is.

Is he writing it himself then? Or is he having a chat with a ghostwriter and letting them do it?

Though it may well be much more entertaining if it was scribed in Hooky's own inimitable style!

Might have to get an advance proof-copy if one exists (the joys of knowing someone who works in a book shop!)...

Having said that, haven't yet finished Bill Drummond's new one "The 17" - that's not out for a couple of months... Very entertaining, though! :)
