I am! I'm trying to figure out how to record the show on my computer or get a podcast or something right now. This is difficult for me because I am a computer idiot. lol
Got "Pete Pong's Poo Party " on now.
"Kissy's by the poo now"
"Hi Pete i'm about to jump in the poo now!!"
"It's the Miami poo party 2008!"
just going to ask that myself, got the listen again thing on & wondered how much I have to forward the show to it & it's too soon for the listings.

You mean you lot put yourselves through an hour or so of crap to wait for something that was never played?
The BBC are getting clever in their ratings-war tactics...
Why would people not be excited about hearing it? Do we only like Barney if he is singing as part of the former popular rock combo known as NewOrder?

Weeell..... hm .I have Pete Pong on sometimes if i'm cookin on a Friday evenin or summat.GAY.He plays some stuff i like on occasion.Tonight however it was a live broadcast from the Miami thingy .God know why i perservered .One track left me unsure if the BBCi Radio player had got stuck for 5 minutes like it soemtimes does
Perservering with the show was kind of like the old days when Janice Long or Peely would promise the first play of a New Order single and you'd sit through 2 hours of tedium occasionally dotted with an intro to a track unannounced by the DJ which would get you thinking is this the new single? Happened a couple of times tonight when intros sounded like something Barney could possibly sing on... but no.It was a slow Friday night
My husband was listening for a little bit and he kept saying "I think that record it stuck!"
So, I guess I don't have to listen to the show again, huh? And yes, listening to it/skipping through it would be worth it to me to hear Bernard's new project. I may be one of a dying breed, but I am a fan of ALL the members of New Order and will always give a listen to their new music or read a new book of theirs. :)

I just read on the ultra festival blog that tong played the song 15 min
before the show went on air.
there also must a cool progressive mix as sasha played a "new
order'ish song with cure-something" in his set on a boat party.
try to find a live stream of ultra festival as both play there today.
If anyone finds it, could you please post a link to it for me? I am looking for a stream but haven't been successful yet.

Cooking isn't 'gay' Johnny
even if Jamie Oliver is famous for it.
Janice Long - 2 hours of tedium? Maybe, but I was never bored with a John Peel show. He always played different and interesting tracks and introduced me to so many great bands. Anyone remember 'The Popticians' or 'Trixie's Big Red Motorbike'?
As for a track sounding like the needle was stuck and repeating the same old thing for 15 minutes... If it was also played at the wrong speed, maybe it was a tribute to the late, great Mr. Ravenscroft ![]()
You're right Chris cooking isn't gay an i used to enjoy Janice Long and Peely .No idea what the fuck i was on about last night![]()
