It's on the front page, nothing new, it's a US release through Rhino, probably remastered versions of course.

I've seen another version of the CD with 2 CDs, this is the 2nd disc listing... it says import, so maybe the UK are also releasing it since it says Wea Intl as the label.

  1. Exercice One [John Peel Show 31 Jan 79]
  2. Insight [John Peel Show 31 Jan 79]
  3. She's Lost Control [John Peel Show 31 Jan 79]
  4. Transmission [John Peel Show 31 Jan 79]
  5. Love Will Tear Us Apart [John Peel Show 26 Nov 79]
  6. Twenty Four Hours [John Peel Show 26 Nov 79]
  7. Colony [John Peel Show 26 Nov 79]
  8. Sound of Music [John Peel Show 26 Nov 79]
  9. Transmission [Recorded Live for Something Else 4 Sept 79]
  10. She's Lost Control [Recorded Live for Something Else 4 Sept 79]
  11. Ian Curtis and Stephen Morris Interviewed by Richard Skinner

So basically the Peel Sessions I already have 3 times

It's about time to get a nice new cover for our collections....

... but it has a nice new cover, you know you want it...

I'm waiting for the "New Dawn Fades... The Greatest Hits" CD... it probably will be out in a few years.:brow:

Then a new box set with all the complete sessions all in one set... should be in 2015

Actually I think I'm waiting for either She's Lost Control: The Best Of Joy Division which I thought would come out in a couple of years, or either Isolation: The Best of Joy Division which should be a few years after that....

My friend that works at Warner just gave me this CD yesterday and the book inside has all these "answers to some questions" each one starts with the word "because" and it's about 13 pages long... Interesting!

The Because quotes are all from Paul Morley's book

The CD ain't remastered

BTW - "She's Lost Control" on CD1 is the single version

You could also try out iTunesEssentials/Joy Division - that is actually a better compilation

Then there'll be "You're No Good For Me" - the worst of Warsaw.....

Looks like there is going to be a Limited Edition Joy Division Zune coming out.

Not a fan of the Zune got me an iPod but it would be cool for people who are looking to buy a Zune.

Limited JD Zune

'Incubation' as the best and no 'Decades'? :nonono: You should have started then right away wit As You Said.

BTW, the cover art sucks. Looks like a self-made sleeve for a CD-R, or even worse, a poster. What happened to Peter Saville? Complete disorder?

Another year. Another Joy Division / New Order * compilation.

(* delete as IN-appropriate)

With bally all that is actually worth shelling out the extras for - save for a couple of Peel Seshs that may or may not have already been available in some form or other. Will Warners simply never stop scraping the barrel in any way they can?

You know, I wish Ian would stop laying around and start working on some new stuff. Last I heard he was hung up... some kinda writers block, eh?:ignore:

Initially I thought they'd used someone else, but no! It is a Saville (and associates) job.

The worst thing is when artists/musicians don't aspire anymore since they have achieved their style/fame and all they do is take the piss out of their own style and work that had made them renown. Either fucking work on or fuck off.
