Setlists from the weekend's two German festivals - HURRICANE SOUTHSIDE

Apologies for the state of the Hurricance setlist - it was a veritable MUD-BATH out there. Close Range, True Faith and Rock The Shack were all finally culled from the setlist due to time restrictions - the Order went on about 1hr late because of the torrential rain. This, after all their monitors and equipment were pushed as far back on the stage as was seemingly possible (Phil C had to play keyboards with plastic sheeting obscuring his hands!).

As for Southside (a dry dustbowl by comparison!), Brutal actually kept its place in the middle of the set and Atmosphere was pushed out as the first track in the encore.

Did start penning a review on the plane home this arvo' but am too shatterred to add to it. Cheers to Stash for the VIP stuff, and thanks to the aforementioned, plus Johnny G, Gordie, Gary, Wayne, Janette, and the German Order (Danny and Bernard) for the beer and banter. Nice one. Cracking weekend. Gonna crash now - up early for Dublin tomorrow. Such is life.

Is there a perticular Kraftwerk track 'Your Silent Face' resembles? It never reminds me of Kraftwerk.

I may have dreamt this, but didn't Kraftwerk visit New Order in their studio around the time that PCL and Blue Monday were being recorded? Maybe it had something to do with that.
