Every year EW does an "IT" list, meaning who currently has "it." Joy Division was mentioned as "IT Retro Depressive." Talked about how they still continue to influence and mentioned 24 hour.... Has a pic of the band also.

I supposse that's pretty cool that such a bland excuse for an entertainment magazine would recognize an integral group like JD. But ergh!!! Why just for being hot nostalgia??? NE ways can't wait for 24 hr. party people to be released....anyone heard any news on the soundtrack? Also, will any other groups be contributing new stuff to it?--extremeparanoya
I got the issue, it's a decent little blurb for the group. Why they didn't put them on the cover, I'll never know.....
it's kinda hip to mention JD these days. I notice more and more people talking about them, bands saying how they were influenced by them. i guess that's good.
