Although it'll probably take another 8 years for him to get around to it, and another 5 to get anything on disc![]()
I wonder how often one of his offspring has to help him log in cos "someone's hacked me password" (ie, he's trying to login with CAPS on).

Still, excellent news.

just a thought, but if Hooky has left the band as he is constantly telling us, why would he be given the contents of this vault?
Firstly, Hooky owns a third/quarter of the copyright, second, he's probably the only one bothered to go through it all with enthusiasm, third, the others wouldn't say 'no' to a share in any profit coming out of releases (and you can't blame them!)

It's a come down for a guy who was at the cutting edge of music technology a quarter of a century ago. My gran can type better. And she's been dead almost seven years. ![]()
Hooky's always been the sentimental fucker in the band, and that means he keeps the memobilia...the tshirts, the tapes, bricks from the Hacienda. I remember hearing that when Strawberry Studios closed down, he went over and rescued all the old tapes from a skip. Think of it... original Joy Division multitracks just thrown in the bin by uncaring morons who trampled on the historical significance due to their ignorance.
I lost a C90 tape in 1991, wonder if its in there. Have a look for me Hooky?
It's got 'The Cure' crossed out on the label.
