I'm not knocking the Glasgow DVD, but I was disappointed slightly by that weird 1963 performance.

Having seen them play it live at the NEC in 89, I know how fucking robotic it sounds live - in a good way!

Does anyone have an MP3 of 1963 live they could send me?

I know - someone's getting their True Faiths mixed up with their 1963s.

How the fuck do you do that?

Barney IS singing, they just turn his mic down REALLY low, and let the backing track shine through.

It's disgusting really, I'm ashamed.

Which is just bizarre.

Michael Preda sent me a rather nice live version of 1963 - with Barney sounding soulful and very comfortable with his vocals.

It's probably one of their easiest tracks to perform live (albeit heavily sequenced) so why turn up the backing tapes?

Ah well, it's not the most important issue in the world or my life right now - that would be is Substance going to be amongst the remasters? If not, some bastard's bollocks want kicking fucking hard.

Mmm....not convinced,if he is,it's out of sync' with the track,& Hookys' end solo is exact note for note as the record. Now as good as we know he is,in all the live versions I've ever heard,it never sounds anything like it :skeptic:

It is the one dubious addition to the second - otherwise excellent - Rarities DVD.

The Technique era tracks included really do have shitey sound quality and it's a shame because a better sounding Dream Attack would not have been off my iPod for months
