Interesting that they have done this AFTER breaking up.....and also that they have the whole Glasgow show on there....
I've ordered the DVD (it's finally released here in Japan later this month), but it's nice for me to be able to see parts of the DVD (the songs performed in Glasgow) before I get the DVD. :)
Interesting that they got Hooky to do the introductory message to the channel.

still, nice to see it up there. will have to check it out in depth.

Agreed. Hooky seems the most amicable member of NO. Weekly updates on his blog, answering fans questions, being open in the media.
In contrast, has any heard anything about Barney? I dont even know if "Miracle Cure" has been released yet. Never heard it in the public domain. Im hoping his working on some good material. But more importantly I hope he's happy.

but you cant copy files from youtube. or can you? looked a good gig. hey joe and perfect kiss are brilliant. id love new order to re-record some of their older stuff with a modern flavor. barney plays some funky guitar on TPK and the keyboards sound lush.

I think I stopped giving a shit whether any of the music I liked or indeed any quality music ever did well in the popular music charts a fair old while ago (the nineties?). In fact, the opposite is quite often a good sign. Similarly, I would be surprised if the members of New Order at this late stage give a toss either... to quote the debut Monaco album I would wager any music they produce from now on is purely music for pleasure.
Miracle Cure was released about a month and a half ago and is a fairly solid dance tune with trite-but-in-an-endearing-way lyrics I.e. Barney's speciality. You can easily buy a copy here (use your Amazon UK details). The Radient Radio Remix on the CD single is definitely worth a spin and should even slightly impress even the most ardent "well it isn't New Order is it?" type of fan.
If you're relying on the top 100 to drop Miracle Cure or any other "new" NO-related tunes into your lap in this day and age then you will be waiting a long time.
I'm afraid it's all skinny jeans and Peaches Geldof these days, mate.
Correction: Miracle Cure was only released a fortnight ago in the UK, and only on vinyl (1 x 7", and 2x 12"'s)... CD singles seem to be a bit scarce nowadays, unless you like buying promos - vinyl is the way forward (which is probably why the WFTSC single got released in that format)!
It was, however, released in Germany a month ago (and on CD)...
