I'll provide a few pics (as I'm sure others will) and I'm sure they can provide the dialogue too.

He was as charming and chatty as ever, lovely man!

Hooky and others

If it doesn't work, apologies, I'll sort it tomorra!

Are him and your better half related, per chance?

Quality night. Was basically just Hooky dj'ing in a shop in Hackney. The shop seems to sell just one thing - those plastic cases to display records on your wall (they had a mixture of 12" sleeves and t-shirts displayed in theirs).

And there was free beer too - though I didn't figure that out till after about the 4th pint from the pub next door.

Some interesting T's on display - an Unknown Pleasure t-shirt with "I am bored of this graphic" underneath and a Monaco T-shirt for "Music for Pleasure" which featured a newspaper on a chair (I'd not seen that before).

Hooky was charming as ever. Dead friendly. Looking fresh-faced and dapper too. Played us a Freebass track with him singing on it. Said it's the only one he sings on but they've got eight(?) other tracks finished with the lad from Haven (is it?) singing. Said stuff should be due out next Spring. Gigs maybe next Spring. And, funnily enough, the book's out next Spring too.

Hooky had a CD of unreleased New Order stuff on him too. He waggled it in me face but wouldn't play anything. JG specifically requested Brothers and Sisters, but no joy there again.

JG and Wolfram cornered Hooky's bass roadie (dunno his name?) for a chat at the end as well. He was driving Hooky for the night (Hooky had a gig down in Battersea after this one).

Usual Suspects in attendance - me, Wolfram, JG, Will and his mate Baz, Ness and Chris, Greg, Vinnie, and my mate Mark.

It was a fcuking long way back to Liverpool Street after too, dunno what me, JG and Greg thought we were doing or what route we were taking!

Liam, unfortunately you aren't the first to make that quip Jert got in there first. I think it's just because they share the same shade of beard.

Hi Frank

Yes, I remember, it was a strange co-incidence that we ended up squashed together at both gigs!

Got a text from Al last night, I thought he was kidding when he said he was in a shop with Hooky. Looking forward to the Freebass stuff, without meaning to sound like I'm taking the piss, what did it sound like, oh, and did anyone ask anything about the unreleased Neworder stuff being released?

it reminded me of XTRMNTR era primal scream - not big on melody but then it had hooky on it sounding quite gruff

yes. tim did. about three weeks ago

Couple of blurry pics off me phone...

As you can see, it literally was just Hooky dj'ing in a shop!

Hooky's no.1 stalker!

That new take on the Unknown Pleasures graphic!
