Well, if you want to cry instead, be my guest... By the way I wasn't expecting this "product". I knew Warner/London wouldn't miss the chance to flood us with another compilation, but I thought they would release a brand new one, like they did earlier in the year with Joy Division! Not that it would matter much, of course...

the new packaging is quite a joke in itself. I do like how it has the original release is from 1995, so I assume one or two tracks have been added.

Nothing added. That's not even the real cover. It's the original CD with a cardboard cover slipped over it.

I'm still not laughing. not even a smirk.

My sincere heartfelt apoligies, I just figured it was a good laugh, my sense of humor is indeed shite.

Don't beat yerself up about it, Liam doesn't understand humor and is still trying to grasp the thought of it. I've heard he's studying very hard on the subject though. All the best that he can pass his final:thumb:

Oh, thanks for the kind words you lot. What I meant by new tracks before is, my copy of the best of does not include lets go, dreams never end, etc, it starts with True faith '94, or BLT '94, so those looked new. Figures they wouldn't include a good version of subculture or maybe 5 8 6.

That's because you have the european version. It's the american one that includes Let's go and Dreams never end.

Thank you for pointing this one out! It's an american re-release we're looking at here. Maybe Warners Europe will release a brand new Best Of this next Fall?

PS: Not that I'm interested in such an item... it's just that, if that's the case, we'll have a brand new "plain, stark, minimal Helvetica/Arial font on a white background" Saville sleeve to complain about!

What's the go with the current picture? Are they in a shower? It made me laugh a little on the inside so I posted about it here.

Never seen that picture before - what are they doing in the shower?
