You know, when I first saw the thread title I thought, Wow, someone actually remembered Tony Fookin' Wilson today...

I thought about Tony Wilson a lot over the weekend, of course, as I was at the same festival as I was last year when I heard the terrible news.

He was a bit of a cunt, but I liked him a lot.

Got that all as AVI somewhere's

Ahhhhh the days when "dance" audiences still had the patience for live performance.

Don't ever recall P:Machinery being used on the NightTIme idents, and I wouldn't have thought there would be any regional variation.

I'm so glad I met Tony, shook his hand and thanked him for everything, before he left us.

Where was that, Steve?

I actually moved my long girly post to my blog, in case anyone's interested.

I've never had a blog before. I quite like it.

At the box office/ticket desk in the Apollo '05 while sitting turning fucking green and missing NO. Meeting the man, made up for missing the band. Poor chap looked TERRIFIED as I approached until he realised I wasn't about to launch into a "why you're a useless cunt Wilson" speech, at which point he beamed, and was all Wilson charm.

Blogging gives you testicular cancer BTW.
