Tonight whilst perusing through the archives at PLANET ROCKET i discovered a little gem that i must have purchased during one of my collecting binges.It is ...and wait for it DR FOX's HITS OF '97...a PEPSI CHRISTMAS NO. 1,not for resale...always a joke that cos i BUY them,the 3 inch CD.Contains SUEDE...saturday night,SHED SEVEN chasing rainbows and MONACO..what do you want from me? Paid a couple of quid for this but a great item probably worth more now cos of THE POP IDOL connection.Just thought i share this with you.Any forgotten items in YOUR collection,get hunting down back of your settee and let me know.

Probably the saddest thing I had in my collection was Smash Hits 1990
Although side 3 was good - Mondays, Charlies, 808 State, Candyflip

The most embarassing thing on my CD collection is Gay Dad's first album, Rocky Mick! By the way, I managed to actually listen to it again and found nothing there to make me change my opinion. The only stand-out track is "Oh Jim".

I've got Smash Hits 1988, which includes such top acts as Climie Fisher, Johnny Hates Jazz and Terence Trent D'arby - class!
Hmmm, I've a British Airways double CD of 80's hits that someone "kindly" bought me after a trip to America. Such classics as Jimmy Nail (she's lyin'), Kylie and Jason, Paul Hardc-c-c-castle and lots of others that should have remained forgotten. I only keep it because it features "Will You" by Hazel O'Connor. Definitely the rose among the thorns!

did candy flip do strawberry fields? if so, then contain yerselves ... boring fact no3 i went to school with one of the members' sisters, and he gave us a lift to the Palace (Blackpool's no1 nitespot) under 18's night.
The most cringe-some cd in my collection would have to be 'celebration 2000', free with the sun and given to me and Mr Capp for Christmas by our good friend the buzzard. Has such timeless classics as Aqua, Barbie Girl; Whigfield, Saturday night; Earth Wind & Fire, Boogie Wonderland ...etc.

Aye - Candyflip did indeed do SF! gave it a 90's style dance version They did follow it up with another single - can't remember what it was called....but it was poor
