Think one or two were asking after these a while back.Sorry but it's another camera phone off the telly jobbie  Will have to get meself one of those VHS to PC gizmos sometime.

Picture is pretty good although the sound of course isn't that hot.Although they are actually miming on these anyhow so you may want to sync up with your CD versions when watching for fuller effect:laugh: Barney may be singing live on Ruined come to think of it, not sure.

I promise not to post any more camera phone hatchet jobs after this, honest.

Thanks a lot for posting these! Feel free to post more...your cell phone camera work is pretty good!

I've always loved the K Klass remix of Ruined....wonder why they decided to use it for the TOTP performance?

Now World....that Ive never seen before.

Interesting how they totally recreated thier stage show for the TOTP performance. The white backdrops, the lights...that was all from the tour they were doing at the time.

Was that performance live? Sounded like it?

Gillian looked fabulous! Her hair and suit were class.

Barney looked very handsome. he should have worn that suit more often, as it is quite a nice suit.

I also really liked that Barney "played" keyboards in the middle. Wonder why he never did that during the concerts?

I didn't know they played Ruined in a Day [K-Klass Mix] live. I love it :thumb:

I believe we deliberated this before on my World(Price of Love) post, and we came up with nothing. Apparently, whatever hooky came up with became the vocal line or what not, forgive my musical term ignorance.

I like your avatar!

Oh yes, I think we concluded that Hooky plays the "dun-du--du-dun-du-du-dun-du-du-dun" bass part. It sounds like a synth bass...maybe he is just using a pedal affect to make it sound like a synth bass?

He does a cool bass outro on Spooky...but its low in the mix..

Thanks for liking the avatar lol. Yea I assume your right, I assume it will be spoken about since the remasters have liner notes now. Or, atleast I hope they will.

You are welcome for the Avatar comment!

I have seen the Dark Knight 6 times, once on IMAX. I am a lifelong Batman fan (much like I am a lifelong New Order fan).

The remasters had better have extensive liner notes. Song by song commentaries. Like the PSB reissues.

I hope anyways.

the dark knight was intense, saw it twice. ANd that avatar was drawn by me in paint haha. I too hope the remasters will live up to what we want.

He turns sideways to the sun Keeps his bass from everyone

Why did they ever do TOTP!! The only UK TV appearances I can think of that AREN'T painfully embarassing are Riverside and Switch. It really wasn't their arena.

My bet is that it will be some Paul Morley (or any other talentless hack) penned meaningless drivell... but I hope I'm wrong.

I second this notion, on both statements. Barney really could sing back then in '93 eh? I would've liked to seen these performances on some sort of DVD, the world here is better then the two "official" music videos.
