Do you have a song that that you can really relate to in the sound of the music and/or lyrics? I know that this changes over the years depending on the stage in your life...don't have to say why if you don't want to - I know it's kind of personal...unless of course you do want to share...or you can just tell me to mind my own *$&*#&@ business..that's fine too! Does not have to be a NO or JD song although I suspect that most of them will be.

Round & Round - I sought solace in the lyrics during a bout of teenage love angst many, many years ago.

I have the best one

General Public/the english beat/whatever the fook dave wakeling masquerades as these days. The song is Tenderness, and it reminds me of the lack of decency in the world.

Close Range from Get Ready, an album that gets no love for some reason.

I think Get Ready is an exceptional album - apart from fodder tracks Slow Jam and Close Range. Even Someone Like You has grown on me in recent years.

GR gets my love anyday, simply for the fact that it showed that NO were still capable of writing decent tunes. And, it shows that even now they could/will get back together. Let's face it, beyond those groups with obvious commercial interests (eg. the Police, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones) how many bands get back together after an eight year gap?

I will take a million Slow Jams if it means they write another Crystal.

Heh. I think Close Range is a marvelous tune. Has a real late night bar hopping feel to it.....I could do without the last song about when Jesus comes, but other than that, great album! Better than WFTSC in my opinion!

Mentioned this before, but Love Vigilantes while I was over in Iraq. I listened to that song constantly. If I listen to it now, it takes me back to those feelings...
