Does this book come in both hardback & paperback covers?
Thinking of getting hold of a copy? Any good?
Note to mods: sorry if in wrong area - wasnt sure where to put it
cheers Scott.

Amazon have it in both paper and hardback. Worth paying the extra couple of quid for the hardback imo. Nice book, well put together.

i got it in fopp, dead cheap.
How much?
Definitely worth it, even if it was annoying at times to see folded/creased/otherwise damaged covers - but if it's what they had access to take shots of, ah well. I paid around 30$ US off Amazon, if I remember correctly.
They sold a lot of the books (sealed and in hardback!) in the FAME (Amsterdam) last year for about 25 euros! I immediately bought one ... a revelation to have.
The quality of the reproduction is awful.
I'm going to do my own version by photocopying old record covers then colouring them in with felt tips.

Yes I was joking.
For Aussie fans, you can get this in softcover now for about $49.99 at BORDERS. I got mine in hardcover couple of years ago for nearly twice the price...then I got a second copy for my archive...after which I got a third copy when I saw a fully sealed yummy minty-mint (ala RocketMick) copy on the shelf.
Now, I'm pondering if I should buy a fourth copy just because I dont have a softcover version...:D

can you do chromatic graphs to show us the difference in quality of these?
I will place differently-coloured Smarties onto a dampened piece of blotting paper, then draw Allsorts of conclusions from the resulting images.
(See what I did there)

Tried HMV but are looking for £26 at the moment.....
If I'm not mistaken, the paperback edition is a newer one, and comes with a Tony Wilson's introduction. The paperback edition is from September 2007, and the hardback is from June 2006. I have the paperback, and it's definitely a must to have book.

Tony Wilson's introduction is also on the hardback one.
