Huntsy asked me about other crazy anecdotes. What about that one :
I've had a female cat. And I named her Gillian. Shes lives at my parents house now cos my Girlfriend is allergic to cat's hair.
Only french speaking persons, I guess, can understand how french speaking persons around me thought that name was really weird?
Now, am I a NO fan or what ?
What really bothers me is when people think I named her after Gillian "Scully" Anderson.

Well if you ask me, that would be a good reason in itself.

Geoff - I was on this thread the second I stepped into work. The mutual cat interest brings our 2 nations together as one. It is with deep regret that said cat had to be cast aside like a used crisp retainer - was it not possible, or is it not still a possibility, that our friend 'Gillian' can be swapped with the current girlfriend.
After all, ignoring the sexual activities of man vs. woman, how can a woman compete with the overall qualities of a cat?
It was a difficult choice but she's the woman of my life and I want her to feel good.
She still feels quite guilty about it but she never asked me to do this. It was my decision.
At least, I can still go at my parent's and see Gillian.
