I am presently archiving personal photos and dug out 2 scrapbooks I had as a teenager. They are mainly NME reviews, concerts, photos, hacienda ads etc.

obviously they do not all fit neatly to A4 scanner size and newspaper print size is what it is.

if people think it's worth the effort, I'll try and scan what I can.

If you have suggestions about how best to scan and unstick (or rip out the pages) double sided A3 (maybe a bit more????) scrapbooks, then tell me.

cheers

I should imagine most on here would like to see them. I can't help you with your scanning question though, sorry.

Get a really good camera and take their pictures.

I've just bought a new one and the results are better than any scanner.

Wow - you are truly a fan. I only collected records.

There are some cameras that have a "document setting" which focuses the lens specifically on words in print.

Play with the settings a bit and you should get alright results.

Taking digital photos is quicker, easier and produces better results than scanning. Even The Mirror use this process.
