Acording to Christie's website, it is from 1981 UK Tour.

I had that t-shirt too, used to confuse the hell out of everyone, it's a long, long time ago!

Certainly not worth anything like that price whatever.

That's a fairly absurd price for a poster like that. It's just some random image with just text mentioning New Order. A few years ago a won an original Low-Life tour poster off eBay for only $30 USD which has images of all the members (the insert photos).

I went to the margate gig from london i think. could be completely wrong but vaguely remember mad dash to catch last trains. (margate probably does not even have station!)

One went last week on ebay for £32.

Some gadgi from a well known site tried selling me an a3 flyer exactly the same as the poster for £40!

Told him to fook off anall!

There is also a guy on Ebay who does repros and charges a tenner a time!

I don't think they are official, pretty sure I bought mine outside the gig in Portsmouth. They are a copy of the advert for the tour in the music press. Unfortunately I don't have either of the two copies I had. Presumably the reason there were posters on sale was that it was the first time New Order had ever played anything that resembled a tour in England so it was worth the bootleggers making up the merchandise. I remember Bernard thanking the lads for fighting in the Falklands at the same time saying that he realised that wasn't most of us!

I'm sure they're official. Remember that summer well, although I never went to the gigs. I had the tee shirt, too. They made a point in playing venues that were off the beaten track for that tour.
